Stanislav Chubchev Motorcycle Accident, Obituary – According to the officials, a man from Montgomery was riding a motorcycle when he was involved in a fatal accident with a car on Tuesday afternoon. Stanislav Chubchev, 33 years old, was named as the suspect by the police. “The Montgomery Police Department extends its deepest condolences to Chubchev’s family and friends,” police stated in a news release issued late on Tuesday night. Tuesday at around 1:54 p.m., officers arrived to the intersection of Orchard Road and Countryside Avenue in response to a call of a collision involving a motorbike and a car in the area.
According to the findings of the investigation, the biker was traveling west on Countryside Avenue when he made an effort to turn south into Orchard Road but instead collided with the driver’s side of a vehicle that was already present in the intersection. According to the officials, Chubchev was transported to Rush Copley Hospital, but he did not survive his injuries and passed away shortly after arriving there. Orchard Road was closed in both ways between Route 30 and Aucutt Road for a number of residences while the Montgomery police department and other agencies assisted in the investigation.
Because of the closure, there was a substantial increase in traffic across the area; therefore, motorists were strongly encouraged to locate alternative routes until the roadway was reopened at around 7:15 p.m. The inquiry into the crash is still ongoing. Officials have stated that the driver of the vehicle that was struck is “cooperating fully” with the inquiry into the accident. Eyewitnesses are being urged to come forward and get in touch with Detective Sergeant Gregory Mayyou at mayyou@ci.montgomery.il.us or by calling 331-212-9091. The police have issued this request.
