Scott Morrison Obituary, Death – At 10 o’clock in the morning on Monday, February 14, 2022, the funeral service for Scott Morrison, who resided in Jacksonville, will take place at the Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Jacksonville. After the service, there will be a time for visitation. The ceremony will be presided over by Brother Kenny Cargill. His last resting place will be in the Meador Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida. The 11th of February, 2022 was the day that Scott passed away. On February 21, 1962, he was welcomed into the world in Kansas City, Kansas, by his parents, Jerry and Judy Morrison.
Jesus was Scott’s first love, and sharing the good news about his Lord was his top priority and passion in life. It brought him great joy to serve in his church. Megan and Ryan were the sources of his pride and delight, and he took great pleasure in praising God via their contributions to the praise and worship teams at their churches. It was important to him to spend time with the people he cared about, and his booming, loud voice will be sorely missed, especially when it was time for prayer. His parents passed away before he did in this life.
Tammie Morrison, Scott’s wife, of Jacksonville, his children Megan Morrison and Ryan Morrison, both of Jacksonville, his sisters Kelley Morrison Banta of Dallas and Kristi Holland (Prentice) of Irving, and Scott’s aunt Carole Dunn of Kansas are the only members of Scott’s family now living. They will always cherish the memories of Scott. Chris Henderson, George Burton, Stuart Bland, Trey Hooker, Chad Lewis, Ray Brock, Rusty Sleeper, and Randy Tennison will serve as the pallbearers at the funeral. The employees of Bobby’s Tires and Auto Service will serve as honorary pallbearers at the funeral.
