Samantha Weinstein Obituary, Death – Samantha Gail Weinstein entered the world on March 20, 1995 in the city of Toronto, in the country of Canada. Since she was six years old, she has been working as an actress. She is most known for her appearances as Heather in the remake of Carrie (2013) by MGM, Audrey in Jesus Henry Christ (2011), and Josephine in the short film Big Girl (2005), which won an award at the Toronto International Film Festival. Samantha was also awarded the ACTRA award for Best Performance by a Female in 2006 for her work in Big Girl. She is the award’s youngest recipient to date, having won it when she was only ten years old.
Other prominent film roles include Brooke in the indie film Reign (2015), Violet in The Rocker (2008), and young Hagar in Margaret Atwood’s The Stone Angel (2007). All three of these films were released between 2008 and 2015. Guest starring appearances on Being Erica, Less Than Kind, Copper, and Darknet are among Samantha’s previous work in the television industry. Killer Virgins is a garage rock band located in Toronto, and Samantha is the lead singer/songwriter and lead guitarist for the band. The band was created in April of 2016. Samantha fought valiantly against ovarian cancer for two and a half years before she succumbed to the disease on May 14, 2023. She passed away at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto with her family and friends by her side.
