Raymond D. Provizzi Death, Obituary – Raymond D. Provizzi, who was 52 years old and from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, died away suddenly on Friday, May 5, 2023, shortly after arriving to the Geisinger Wyoming hospital.Provizzi was the son of Raymond A. and Connie M. (Simone) Provizzi, who both passed away before his birth on February 15, 1971 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
The following people are known to have survived his passing: his fiancée, Dawn Rodola – Johns, with whom he lived; his brothers, William J. Provizzi and his wife, JoAnn, and James D. Provizzi and his wife, Kelli; his sister, Susan R. Kotansky, who is married to Wesley; a large number of nieces and nephews; his stepchildren, Amber Rodola and Zachary Johns.
Following his graduation from Weatherly High School in 1989, Ray went on to get his Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramics Engineering from Penn State University. He had most recently been employed by Schott North America Manufacturing in Duryea, and before to that, he had been employed at Electro Space Fabrication. An enthusiastic fan of all of the Weatherly Wreckers sports teams, as well as Penn State University Athletics. Ray has been a season ticket holder for Penn State Football for a very long time. Family obligations have to be rescheduled around Penn State home football games.
Ray was a hockey aficionado who also loved seeing the Wilkes-Barre Penguins play. In addition, he was a big supporter of college football in general. Ray loved playing golf in his leisure time, and both he and Dawn were fans of a wide variety of musical genres. They looked forward to going to concerts together. Philip J. On Monday, May 15, 2023, at six o’clock in the evening, the funeral home will be the location of a Celebration of Life event. Visitors are welcome to stop by between the hours of 4:30 p.m. and the start of the services.The family will be collecting monetary contributions in order to endow a scholarship at Weatherly High School in Ray’s honor.
