Paul Parker Obituary, Lead, South Dakota Paul Parker Has Passed Away

Paul Parker Obituary, Death –  Paul Michael Parker, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Monument Health in Rapid City, South Dakota. He was a resident of Lead, South Dakota. On May 22, 1956, Paul was born in the state of Kentucky. Paul’s interests included baseball, the great outdoors, hiking, and going on adventures. His favorite dog, Kona, would often accompany him and his wife, Brenda, on their outings, such as walks and hikes. Treasure hunting was another hobby of Paul’s, and he enjoyed going to antique stores and garage sales. Paul would take his children, grandchildren, and other members of his family on trips to various locations across the United States whenever it was possible for him to do so. He had a deep appreciation for the natural splendor that this nation possesses.

Paul was a reliable and trustworthy member of his community. He made it a point to get to know everyone of his neighbors, which is something that is unusual in today’s world, and he was always happy to offer assistance when it was needed. He was the kind of person who would strike up a conversation with anybody and everyone he came across. He never failed to regale us with an exciting tale, and all of us looked forward to hearing them. There are times when I wonder if he wasn’t the model for the character of Big Fish in the movie. His parents, Paul Parker and Bessie DeVaney, had passed away previously before Paul’s passing.

Paul is survived by his wife, Brenda Parker of South Dakota; his children, Steven Parker of California, Chris Parker of Oklahoma, and Jana Parker of Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Scout Parker, Reagan Parker, Nolan Parker, Ella Parker, and Lucy Parker of California, Genesis Cruz of North Dakota, Fintan Delaney, Haiden Delaney, and Joseph Parker Klimek of Oklahoma. Brenda Parker is from South Dakota. Paul was very well liked by many people, and his absence will be keenly felt. Paul will be cremated, and there are no funeral or memorial ceremonies scheduled at this time.
