Mr. Earl Lynn Crouch Death, Obituary – Mr. Earl Lynn Crouch, age 87, of Taylorsville, died away in a calm and serene manner on Monday, May 15, 2023, with his family at his side. Earl was the son of the late Ray Crouch and Blanche Dyson Crouch and was born on March 19, 1936 in Alexander County. His parents both passed away. During his time in the workforce, he held positions at Ford Motor Company and Champion Paper. Afterward, he retired from his position as supervisor of the landfill for both the state and the county. He was a member of the Baptist faith and was the proprietor of LEE Tanning in addition to serving as President of the Brushy Mountain Coon Club.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as watching the Atlanta Braves on television. In addition to that, he enjoyed preparing meals for a variety of occasions. His wife, Ann Morrison Crouch, his granddaughter Charlotte Michelle Hull, his son-in-law Dwight Leroy Hull, his brother and sister-in-law Paul and Dorothy Crouch, his sister-in-law Rita Crouch, and his brother-in-law Howard Warren all passed away before him. His parents also passed away before him.
Those left to cherish and honor his memory include: his daughter, Deborah Lynn Crouch Hull of Taylorsville; his grandchildren, Mitzi Lynn Hull Davidson and husband, Michael, Ashleigh Brooke Hull; his great-grandchildren, Logan Dwight Hull, Ethan Dwight Stewart, Eli Ashton Cole Hull, Ashlynn Netta; his sister, JoAnn Crouch Warren; his brothers, Jimmy Crouch, Leroy Crouch, Jeff Crouch and wife, Mary; and a number of other relatives.
On Friday, May 19, 2023, at three o’clock in the afternoon, the funeral ceremony will be held in the chapel of Adams Funeral Home. The ceremony will be presided over by Reverend Johnny Tomlin. After the funeral, the burial will take place at the Taylorsville City Cemetery. On Thursday, May 18, 2023, the family will host a visitation at Adams Funeral Home beginning at 6 p.m. and continuing until 8 p.m. The following individuals have volunteered to serve as pallbearers: Mark Crouch, Chuck Crouch, Shannon Crouch, Allen Warren, Joe Warren, and Randy Teague.
Great-grandsons Logan, Ethan, and Eli are acting in an honorary capacity as pallbearers.
