Lois Streyle Obituary, Lois Streyle Passed Away Unexpectedly

Lois Streyle Obituary, Death – At the age of 69, Lois R. Streyle died away in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 13, 2023 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She called the city of Yankton in South Dakota her home. Funeral services will be place at Riverview Reformed Church in Yankton, South Dakota at eleven in the morning on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

The date and location of the funeral have yet to be determined. The Reverend Jake Van Der Linden has been asked to serve as the officiant for the event. The funeral and interment will take place at the Zion-Kassel Reformed Cemetery, which is situated in the rural area of Menno, at approximately 1:30 in the afternoon on Thursday. Visitations will begin at the church one hour before the commencement of the service, and they will continue during the service. Helping out with the preparations for the memorial service is the staff from the Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory, which is located in Yankton, South Dakota.

Her mother’s maiden name was Fuerst. Both her baptism and confirmation took place in the Zion Reformed Church, which is located in the rural community of Menno.

Lois had been a resident of the family farm up to the time that her father passed away. Following that, she sought a new place to live in Yankton and moved there in order to start taking ABS classes there. Lois’s employment at HyVee spanned perhaps in the neighborhood of twenty-five years. Bowling, gardening, and volunteer work were some of her favorite things to do in her spare time.

After Lois’s demise, her legacy will be carried on by her two brothers, Maynard and Roland, as well as her three sisters, Marcella, Kathleen, and Betty, as well as her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts, and uncles, as well as her brother Marvin, her brother-in-law Loren, and her brother Marvin. Her parents, Alvin and Lora Streyle, as well as her brother Marvin, all passed away before her.
