Jean DeJohn Obituary, Death – The news of Jean DeJohn’s demise has left us with a great sense of loss. Jean was a treasured individual who lived a life that was full of love, happiness, and exciting new experiences. Her passing has left us with a terrible sense of sorrow. On May 12, 2023, Jean passed away at the age of 78. The date of her passing was recorded. At the moment of her passing, she was surrounded by members of her family and other people she loved. Jean earned her diploma from the Notre Dame Girls School in Moylan, which is located in this town. St. Joseph’s University, where she attended classes and ultimately earned her degree, awarded her a bachelor’s degree in biology.
After that, in 1978, she established her own business and named it DeJohn Medical Laboratory. She worked there until her retirement in 2012 and stayed employed there till then. Jean had a variety of interests that she pursued over the course of her life, but the one that probably stood out the most was her excitement for traveling to new locations, notably the Caribbean and Disneyworld. Another one of Jean’s favorite things to do in her leisure time was to go to casinos and play the slot machines that only cost a penny.
Her siblings, Antoinette Iacono and Lucille Polilli, as well as her parents, Pasquale and Stephanie DeJohn, had already left this world by the time Jean was born. She is survived by her sister Margaret McCusker and her brother Joseph DeJohn (Catalina), as well as by her niece and nephew Megan Loomis (and her husband Billy), James McCusker (and his wife Gabrielle), and Patti Matheson (and her husband Dan), as well as by her grandchildren Emily (and her wife Sarah), Margaret, Jimi, Joy (and her husband Nic), Juliana (and her husband Peter), and Ian.
On Monday, May 22, there will be a visitation at the Nolan Fidale Funeral Home, which can be found in Aston at 5980 Chichester Avenue. The visitation will take place from 10-11:30 AM. Following that, at 11:30 in the morning, there will be a service held inside of the funeral home.
