Briana Ballesteros Accident, Traffic Collision – An 18-year-old woman named Briana Ballesteros was shot and killed in a neighbourhood in Stockton just a few minutes before she was scheduled to share a supper with her loved ones. Yolanda Inunza described her oldest daughter through the help of a translator and through her emotions. “Si, she seems to be in a good mood. According to what Inunza said with FOX40, “she enjoyed learning a lot.” Relatives claim that Briana had aspirations of becoming a cosmetologist if she hadn’t been slain. Sadly, she did not live to see those dreams realized.
Investigators with the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office said that Ballesteros was shot and killed on Gilchrist Avenue in September of last year as she was riding in the car with her mother. At the spot where she took her last breath, a homemade memorial can be found. According to her mother, she had been sitting around waiting for her boyfriend. Both of them were hungry, so they decided to head back to Inunza to get something to eat. “Si, yes, they were a very united family,” Inunza added. “They were very close.” They had a set mealtime of three o’clock every day, when they would all eat together.
The investigators are of the opinion that the 18-year-old was not the intended target of the attack. “I couldn’t believe it,” said family friend Aidee Ramirez. “It felt like a dream, like it’s not true till now. I still can’t believe she’s already gone. Those who were close to her claim that her passing has torn them in two. According to what Inunza said to FOX40 through a translator, “It is very difficult for her every day not to hear the voice of her daughter.”
According to her mother, her only other daughter is in utter disbelief. According to Inunza, “She spends a lot of time in her room, and it’s difficult for her to go to school.” Relatives have stated that while they want the perpetrator of the crime to be apprehended, they are against the use of the death sentence. They are only looking for answers. Because Briana did not earn anything in any way, shape, or form. She didn’t. According to Ramirez, the mother does not want the person who was responsible for the death of her daughter to experience the same emotions that she is. A reward of $10,000 is being offered by Crime Stoppers for any information that leads to an arrest in connection with this case.
